Drive360 v1 basemap

Stock mapbox/light-v11 + dark-v11 (Mapbox-designed baseline, same as production today). Drive360 v1 brand style is being hand-designed in Mapbox Studio UI separately and will swap in here for sign-off when ready. The overlays (route casing, depot / numbered stops / truck pin, restriction polygon) are the polish surface this preview is calibrating right now.

Brief: squad/design#1 · Engineering: sprints#2767 · Path: algorithmic layer-mutation (build-styles.mjs) was below the Routific / Linear bar (2026-05-05 LEARNING). Studio UI hand-curation is the design surface; this page renders stock until the v1 styles land.

What we took. Polylines pop because the basemap is muted; no business POIs; place labels only. Driver pins carry brand colour.

What we took. Per-vehicle polyline colour. Numbered stop pins. Single tonal roads, no road shields. Same use case as our /route360/optimisation.

Onfleet · Visibility

Real-time dispatcher map for last-mile delivery

What we took. Aggressive basemap suppression. Almost monochrome. Severe place-label restraint — only major suburb names. Route + drivers carry visual weight.

Onfleet · Automation / routing

Auto-assigned routes with driver chips

What we took. Driver-chip overlay (avatar + name) on top of pins. ETAs as small badges. Map is genuinely background.

Now. Calibrate the overlay set on stock baseline: depot glyph, numbered stop pin, truck teardrop, route casing weight, restriction dash. Linear-level pin geometry, soft shadow, restraint typography. Sign-off here ships to drive360/console MapboxMap.tsx.
